Hey Artists,
Whether we like it or not Marketing is part of your job as an artist. If you have an audience it is easier to negotiate your rates, sell your art directly to your fans, and quit non artistic jobs that you don't like.
So for the rest of this year I am going to focus on marketing.
How?
By using myself as a guinea pig.
This site has a couple of views a month, the instagram has 50 followers and we don't really sell any merch.
As an actor I am in the 150,000 level on IMDB and the film company is at 15000.
Over the rest of this year I am going to study digital marketing and apply it to myself and my companies.
I'll share what I've learned here and if I am successful I will publish a step by step guide and possibly an online course.
