Quick Audition Cheat Sheet (From new book)

Now some technical steps:

1.Read the audition scene aloud 10 times. Don't act, just get a sense of flow and the words.

2. Try playing the scene angry, sad, scared, in love etc. At least one of these ways should be the opposite of how you think the scene should be played. The point is to play and gain insight.

3. choose an acting tool (one you know, or one of the tools covered later in this book) , play with it. If you like what you are doing stick with that, if not try another.

4. Modify your acting to the medium and style of the audition.

5.Repeat for any additional scenes.
